What is assisted living?
Assisted living is a special combination of personalized support services
and compassionate.
What kinds of services are available?
We provide the ideal solution for seniors who need some help with daily
activities such as bathing, dressing and medication reminders. We focus
on wellness and keeping residents as independent as possible. Services
such as housekeeping, laundry and meals are also available. With changes
in medical technology and greater awareness levels, assisted living
becomes more popular every year.
Who needs care?
Residents often come to an assisted living situation after a personal crisis or hospitalization. They may choose to return to independent living or remain in assisted living. Assisted living provides an alternative community to a nursing home while still providing needed medical and living care.
How does assisted living work?
During a brief visit with a Spectrum Homecare nurse, a plan of care
will be tailored to your individual needs. Costs vary depending on the
levels of these services. Many residents qualify for financial assistance
programs.
